Payment methods and receipts
Updated Sep 28, 2026
Your card is held by Stripe, not by GIG. You enter it on Stripe's secure checkout page when you buy a plan, and renewals charge that card. To replace it, select Update card in Settings → Billing — the card field in that dialog is Stripe's own, so the number goes to Stripe and never passes through GIG.
Receipts
Every invoice is listed under Billing history in Settings → Billing, newest first. PDF downloads it — once it's paid, that's your receipt — and View opens it on Stripe's invoice page.
A failed charge
When a renewal fails, or your bank asks to verify it, GIG tells you, and your plan keeps working for 14 days. Open Settings → Billing and select Pay or verify now: Stripe's page takes the payment and runs whatever check your bank asks for.
Updating your card there also tries the new card on the waiting payment straight away. If your bank wants to verify that payment, GIG says so, and Pay or verify now finishes it. Stripe also retries on its own schedule, but that can land after the 14 days are up — so don't wait for it.
