Module access and permissions
Updated Aug 31, 2026
Turning a module off
A module switched off disappears from the top bar for everyone in the organization. Nothing in it is deleted, and switching it back on brings it back in its proper place in the order.
Per-person access
Some modules can be granted to individual people. This is how a contractor is given the ability to read Docs at all — without an explicit grant, a contractor sees nothing there.
Renaming a module
An organization can rename any module. Renaming never changes where it sits in the order.
The six modules
| Module | What it is for | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Entity | People: one record per person, their designation, their gigs and rosters. | /command/entity |
| Data | Spreadsheet tables you shape yourself: your own columns, your own rows. | /command/table |
| Forms | Collecting information from outside the organization — applications, agreements, availability. | /command/forms |
| Architect | The production board where a show is laid out block by block. | /command/architects |
| Finance | Catalog, invoices, payments, payouts, memberships and reports. | /command/finance |
| Docs | Documents, uploaded files, chips, and published help centres like this one. | /command/docs |
