Import and export

Importing a CSV
- Open the table you want to import into.
- Choose import and pick your file.
- Match each column in the file to a column in the table. Anything you do not map is left out.
Rows are written in batches, so a large file arrives in stages rather than all at once. They land in the same order as in the file.
Files saved from Excel in French (Canada) — separated by semicolons, with accented names — are read as they were written: the preview says so, and decimal commas stay decimals. Numbers going into a Number or Money column are read the same way as when you type them; any that can't be read are listed in the preview before you import.
If an import stops part-way, the rows that made it in stay, and pressing Import again sends only the rest.
