The fastest route: the Help button
Inside the app, the Help button opens a support ticket. Prefer it over email when you can reach the app at all — it attaches the page you were on, your organization and the app version automatically, which is most of what we would otherwise have to ask you for. You get a reference number on screen.
By email
- Anything at all, including a sign-in problem — support@thegigapp.ca
- A payment, invoice, plan change or comp code — billing@thegigapp.ca
- A security vulnerability or suspected breach — security@thegigapp.ca
- A privacy or data-access request — privacy@thegigapp.ca
- Reporting abuse by another user, or misuse of GIG — abuse@thegigapp.ca
- A legal notice, or a question about our policies — legal@thegigapp.ca
These all reach the same team; the split just gets your message to the right place faster. If you are not sure, use support@thegigapp.ca — nothing is lost by choosing wrongly.
What to include
Telling us these four things gets you a useful answer first time:
- Your organization's name.
- What you were trying to do.
- What happened instead, including the exact wording of any message.
- The web address of the page you were on.
What not to send
Never send us your password. We will never ask for it, and a support request is never a reason to share one. If you think someone else has access to your account, write to security@thegigapp.ca and change your password yourself.
