The library

Everything in Docs lives in one tree per organization. A row in that tree is one of four things:

• a folder, which holds other things;
• a doc, which you write;
• a file, which you uploaded;
• a chip, which is a spreadsheet.

A document lives in exactly one place in the tree, and can appear in as many clusters as you like. That separation is the point: reorganizing your library never breaks a published link.
