Finding your way around

Your home screen
After you sign in you land on Command, your home screen. Its Upcoming list shows your gigs for the next two months. A gig that's on right now sits at the top under Now, marked Live, with the door's number ("12 of 31 in"), and a show that runs over several days stays there until it ends. Switch to Month to see the same gigs on a calendar: choose a day with gigs to list them under the calendar. All gigs opens the full list, and a gig you open from the home screen has a back link that brings you back to it.
On a phone, Today shows the gig that's on now, or else the next one, and Next lists the three after it, with All gigs to open the full list.
The module rail
Your modules live in a bar across the top of the screen, not in a sidebar. They always appear in the same order, and an organization that has renamed or disabled a module still sees the rest in that same order. Hovering a module shows its name in a small tray below it; the module you're currently in shows a small dot underneath its icon. A module your plan doesn't include shows a small warning dot on its icon instead — clicking it takes you to Settings → Billing to upgrade rather than opening the module.
The command palette
The fastest way to anything is the command palette — press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) from anywhere in the app to open it, or close it again from wherever your focus happens to be with Esc.
With nothing typed, it shows your modules plus a couple of quick actions (New contact and New gig, when your organization has the Entity module and your role can add them). New gig takes you to your gigs with the New gig form already open. Start typing and it searches people, businesses, gigs, collections, forms, tables, finance records, projects and docs together, plus the rest of your navigation — Settings, Gig Profile, Notifications, and (depending on your role) Permissions, Billing, Possible duplicates (the merge-review queue), and Super admin. Use the arrow keys and Enter to move through results and open one, or click any result directly.
You can find a gig by its name or by its venue. Under each gig is when it starts, on the gig's own clock, and where, so the nights of a run that share a name are easy to tell apart, and a cancelled gig says so. Gigs that aren't over yet come first, soonest first, so tonight's show leads; the most recent ones that are over follow. A collection shows how many gigs it holds, and opens the collection's page.
On a phone
The top bar is replaced by a hub: your modules arranged in a ring around a center Search button, wired to it like spokes. Tap a module to open it, or tap the center to open the same search as the desktop command palette. A locked module shows a small lock on its node instead of opening.
Some modules can be held down on — a hint below the hub names which ones ("Hold Entity or Finance for their pages") — to open a map of just that module's pages, without leaving the hub. Recently visited pages appear in a list below the hub so you don't have to retrace your steps to get back to one.
